What's up everyone!
I went to see Wayne Krantz with Steve Hass and Anthony Jackson on Thursday.

It was truly some of the grooviest most creative music I've seen in a while. Wayne has written new music that's more involved than what he was doing with Carlock. I saw some major drummers at the bar as well. Steve sounded great going from pocket to crazy hand and foot fills. He changed it up for each section. It was very musical. And Anthony Jackson kept yelling at HASS like "yeah! yeah! woooh!!". He was on fire in that band.
He also had an interesting ride. He plays all Sabian and they sounded beautiful, but his ride was almost a flat ride with a flanged edge and have unlathed with a brilliant finish. Looked like some proto-type. Has anyone seen these?
